Empower Educator Summit 2025 ~ Call for Proposals: September 28th Deadline

Dear MASCD Members and Friends,

We’re inviting YOU to take the stage at the Empowered Educator Summit 2025 on Saturday,

November 1, 2025 (9:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.) at the Four Points Sheraton in Norwood, MA.

This is your chance to:

  • Deliver a 10-minute Ignite Keynote Address to inspire our community
  • Lead a 35–40 minute Discussion Session on Leadership, Innovation/EdTech, Educator Wellness, or Passion Projects
  • Facilitate a 5–7 minute Icebreaker or Networking Activity to build community connections

If selected, presenters receive $25 off registration (just $75 for members, $125 for non-members, which includes a MASCD membership through July 1, 2026).

This is a great opportunity for education consultants, new and emerging presenters, and seasoned leaders alike to share expertise, showcase your work, and expand your reach with an engaged community of whole-child, whole-educator-minded peers.

Suzy Brooks is an award-winning educator and nationally recognized leader in instructional technology, currently serving as Director of Instructional Technology for Mashpee Public Schools in Massachusetts. With more than two decades in education, including ten years as an elementary teacher, Suzy brings deep expertise in blended learning, student engagement, and digital literacy.

Her insights have been featured by EdWeek, NBC News, Instructor Magazine, Intel, ASCD, and the NEA, and she previously served as President of the Massachusetts affiliate of ASCD. Suzy is the co-author of Modern Mentor: Reimagining Mentorship in Education and the co-founder of K12Leaders.com, a professional network dedicated to amplifying leadership across K–12 education. As Editorial Director for the platform, she champions educator voice and fosters meaningful community among school leaders nationwide.

Suzy holds a B.S. from Bridgewater State University and an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from Lesley University.
