Credential Portfolio Beta Tester Guide
Thank you for helping us test the K12Leaders credential workflow. This page gives you the exact flow to run and what to report back.
Test flow (10-15 minutes)
- Open My Credentials and review your dashboard cards.
- Use Claim Event Credential with a code or QR scan, if available.
- Use Add Credential Manually to create one test credential.
- Use Export Portfolio and generate a CSV or PDF.
- Use Share PD with District to submit one credential set.
- Confirm the item appears with the expected status in your history/list view.
What to validate while testing
Usability
- Did each button do what you expected?
- Were labels and status messages clear?
- Did anything feel confusing or slow?
Data quality
- Was credential title/type accurate?
- Did organization and date fields look correct?
- Did export output match what you entered?
Submission flow
- Did sharing to district complete successfully?
- Did status updates make sense after sharing?
- Would you trust this for regular PD reporting?

Capture the exact step, what you expected, what happened instead, and include a screenshot if possible. That gives us the fastest path to a fix.
