I am a retired educator who is very active in community organizations and technology support for websites and other digital media that support digital literacy for all ages, especially older adults. I am currently developing a website to promote digital literacy.

While teaching Health Education, the school library specialist and I collaborated on several projects. She introduced me to ways that technology could help me do my job more effectively.  I was hooked and adopted the motto: I love technology 98% of the time.  

I had some early experience  with Apple IIE and the MECC software. Next I had an opportunity to work with a DOS computer learning about c prompt, etc.  The little Mac in a Box was next before being introduced to the Windows World.  With WWW3 courses, I learned HTML, XHTML, CSS and why Microsoft Publisher wasn’t a good choice for creating websites.  I am still learning new things and have created websites with Dreamweaver, Word Press, Wix, Weebly, and SquareSpace.  Canva, Adobe Create Suite, iMovie, Final Cut, and Snaggit are a few of the other tools I enjoy.
