| About Me | ​Tim Needles is an artist, educator, and​ author of STEAM Power: Infusing Art Into Your STEM Curriculum. He’s a technology integration specialist and ​art educator at Smithtown Schools, a Five Towns College adjunct professor, a TEDx Talk speaker, ​and his work has been featured in the New York Times, NPR, Columbus Museum of Art, & Norman Rockwell Museum. He’s a recipient of ISTE’s Technology in Action ​and Creativity Awards, NAEA’s Eastern Region Art Educator Award ​and AET Outstanding Teaching Award, ​and Rauschenberg Power of Art Award. He’s a NYSCATE board member, National Geographic Certified Teacher, Adobe Creative Educator, NASA Solar System Ambassador, NAEA ArtEdTech chair​, and an ISTE community leader. |
