Author Details
Author Bio | I have been blogging since 2005 when I started my classroom blog Third Graders, Dreaming Big. I later had those same 3rd graders learning to blog themselves. Our site received thousands of visits and hundreds of comments over the ten years I was a teacher. My students learned so much about what makes writing worth reading. When I became an administrator, that blog was migrated to http://www.technicallyinvisible.com, which was a sad substitute because 90% of the images did not carry over. It still became a place for me to be creative and share ideas with anyone who wished to stop by. While TechnicallyInvisible will live on for a bit longer, all of my blog posts are published here on K12Leaders, where I am the Editorial Director. Instead of working with students, I now work with education professionals, helping them to amplify their voice in an industry over-run with outside negativity from the press. Change can only come from within, and by sharing perspectives, struggles, triumphs and strategies, we will get there together. Blog with us on K12Leaders – reach out to me @Suzy if you have any questions.
