| About Me | I am the founder and President of EdTek Services. I have been “in the trenches” of online education since 1996 when I helped establish one of the first fully online learning programs for the G8 Research Group at Trinity College, University of Toronto. From 1997 until 2003 I was both a client of and then a Regional Director for eCollege during that company’s explosive growth. While there I witnessed and participated in the launch of some of the biggest online distance learning providers. In 2003, I noticed a growing gap in the products and services geared towards small and mid-size education and training providers. So, I founded EdTek, and partnered with leading technology and content companies. Together we developed a package focused on helping these small and medium-size organizations navigate the challenging process of designing, implementing, and successfully running their eLearning programs. Now, 26 years later, I realize I’m either a survivor or a dinosaur in the eLearning sector. All good. |
