About Me

I am a Library Clerk for a K-6 school of close to 800 students. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Human Development. Running an Elementary School Library is a career I wanted for many years. Prior I was an Paraeducator working with SPED students for 15 years. It took me 12 years and over 100 interviews for my dream of being a librarian to become a reality. However, where desire is great a refusal to give up is also great. I just completed my eighth year as Woodrow Wilson’s Library Clerk. Fun fact – Woodrow Wilson Elementary is named after my ancestor. My Grandpa was 4th cousin to President Woodrow Wilson!
