About Me | Dr. Jennifer Parker is an IT/School Data Consultant for Macomb Intermediate School District and an adjunct faculty member for Central Michigan University in the Master of Arts in Learning, Design, and Technology. She co-authored the book, “Making the Move with EdTech: 10 Strategies to Scale Up your In-Person, Hybrid, and Remote Learning”. She has been a presenter at state, national and international conferences and has over 30 years in education as an instructional technology coordinator, CTE teacher, K12 library media specialist, district administrator and curriculum expert. She is one of the original creators of the 21things4 Project and is an ISTE Certified Educator. She was chosen as the ISTE Digital Leader of the Year in 2018. She has consulted with ISTE on #ISTEcert, authoring courses on ISTE-E and ISTE-S, and holds an ISTE Seal of Alignment for her work on the 21things4educators. She has been recognized by Tech and Learning Magazine as one of the most influential people in EdTech and for Best Digital Curriculum. Her sessions speak to any LMS or learning platform and include best practices in using EdTech in your F2F/hybrid/blended/hyflex classroom, personalized learning, essential elements of an interactive online learning environment, instructional design that embraces learner variability, digital citizenship, instructional coaching/collaboration/co-learning, implementation science, school leadership, data, assessment, and analysis, and continuous school improvement, and instructional strategies to support purposeful technology integration. She is a co-facilitator of the Interactive Learning Coaches Network and the Macomb Academy for Digital Educators (Blended Learning Academy). She is a Discovery Education Leader, former Executive Board member for Michigan Continuous Improvement Facilitators Network, and the State Lead for Professional Development in the State’s education data portal, MISchoolData.
