About Me | I am a creative and enthusiastic educator with extensive library professional experience in both university and school libraries. I develop thorough and thoughtful student-focused lessons that challenge while providing appropriate support. I am a strong communicator who excels at collaboration, building strong relationships with students, colleagues, and administration. I am highly organized, adaptable, and flexible. I seek continuous improvement and professional development and learn quickly. Specific skills include writing and editing. I also enjoy participating in creating a shared vision, setting goals, and developing plans to accomplish those goals. My current professional focus is revitalizing a new-to-me school library and program. Ultimately, I would like to work with colleagues to develop a K-12 media literacy curriculum. |
