About Me | Began my journey into professional learning in 2013, providing workshops to colleagues about ed tech tools that helped me streamline my teaching and engage my students. Today, I am the Teacher Center Director for my district. The Teacher Center is a NYS Grant-funded position that is designed to support teaching and learning “for teachers, by teachers.” Additionally, I am a high school social studies teacher. While I have taught many types of history, my favorite is Modern World History, which I have been teaching since 2000, with only a few breaks. I am on the Board of Directors for our regional Genesee Valley ASCD. I am the 2019 recipient of their Curriculum Award for my work in guiding the digital conversion at my district. |
