About Me | As a Coordinator for Instructional Technologies, Aimee brings to us over 15 years of experience in education. Aimee’s career began as a PreK-8th grade art and computer teacher, where her role quickly expanded into assisting educators with educational technology, Website design, and data management.  Empowered with a strong desire to maximize her impact on students and adult learners, Mrs. Bloom obtained her second Master’s in Educational Leadership with a minor in Emerging Media and Educational Technology. She has served various leadership roles throughout her career, such as an Integration Specialist, Assistant Principal, and Technology Coordinator. She also has experience as a Staff Development Specialist for the Model Schools Co-Service for instructional technology at Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES. As an individual who believes that one should never stop learning, Mrs. Bloom continues to grow as a professional by obtaining certifications from the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and is a Google Certified Trainer. Passionate about improving education, Mrs. Bloom has participated on committees where she co-authored the New York State Computer Science Standards and the Diocese of Buffalo Computer Technology Curriculum. She is also a part of several professional organizations.
An artist by trade, she loves to infuse creativity into anything that she does. In her spare time, she swims, bikes, runs {in that order}, loves to kayak, and spends time with her family! |
