My dog thinks I’m great. My son thinks I’m silly. My friends think I’m creative. My cat is ambivalent. I grow avocado trees for fun, talk to my carnivorous plants, love Golden Girls (I’m a Sophia), dream of living in Australia, and have a deep passion for libraries and public education.

I’ve worked in and with libraries and schools for over a decade. In that long and wild time I’ve built successful social media and marketing campaigns, worked with the most amazing kids ever, developed tech training programs, managed some poorly located servers (think closets with AC units), and worked with libraries all over the world.
