The K12Leaders Feed, Directory and Community

This is a brief introduction to the K12Leaders News Feed, Member Directory, and Communities.
Members Directory:
Every member has the option to toggle their Privacy Settings to appear (or not) in the Member Directory and/or Search results. Those settings are available from your avatar drop down (top right on the web, or from the hamburger menu on mobile) under Account::Privacy. You can search or browse the directory, and Follow and/or Connect with members.
Follow lets you view any updates a member makes in the News Feed. However, “Follow: will not let you be able to Message with them.
Connect allows you to connect with a member so you can see each other’s updates in the News Feed and be able to message both of you.
News Feed:
The News Feed works very much like other social media platforms, where you will see updates from your connections (or members you follow) in chronological order. We also include any updates from your Communities in the main News Feed as well. You’ll notice that we support “@ing” other members, hashtags, polling, and attachments.
Communities:
You can browse all Public and Private Communities on the left sidebar or filter those you’re participating in. Not sure how to work with and configure Communities? We have a video outlining everything, and you’re welcome to create Communities of your own.
